Prior to Wilson’s training he was very hyper, stubborn, and out of control. He had no clue what a command was. He became unbearable. When Wilson came home after his stay he was a completely different dog. He knows and understands his commands now. Thanks to Man’s Best Friend and Keith we now have a new family member with a better disposition. Man’s Best Friend and Keith are the best!

Thank you so much for taking the time to teach Jake what to do and what not to do. Before he met you, he was a crazy, jumpy, out of control puppy. Sometimes, he would knock me over and steal my food. After spending two weeks with you and your friends at Man’s Best Friend, Jake is just a crazy puppy. He has learned to listen and be a good boy.

Cost will depend on many different factors and can be determined with a free evaluation.

How effective is the training?

Training is very effective for both the dog and the owner.

How exactly do you train my dog to behave correctly?

Training is achieved through using years of experience, repetition and positive reinforcement.

How long does it take to train my dog?

There is no magic wand because every dog is unique and every owner’s expectations and goals are different.

How early can I start training for my dog?

Training can begin as early as 10 weeks of age with two full rounds of vaccinations. It is never too late to train.

Is there a guarantee with the training?

We offer a “Lifetime Training Performance Guarantee”.

How much of me is involved with the training?

The owner is a vital part of training. We will build a foundation with the dog and then teach the owner how to work with and build on that foundation.

Can you train my dog at my house?

We like to train the dogs and owners in-house to limit the possible distractions that can hinder training focus.

I need to housetrain my dog; can you do that as well?

Yes, we work with all types of behavioral issues from housebreaking and chewing, to aggression control.

Can you train other pets like cats?

We do not offer training for cats…just dogs and their owners.

Do you board pets?

We offer boarding for both dogs and cats.
